Western Iowa Non-Wing Sprints Headed To Adams County Speedway
The Western Iowa Non-Wing Sprint Series will highlight Memorial Day Weekend racing action at the 1/2 mile Adams County Speedway on Saturday night May 27th.
The series is slated to start off their season the night before at the US 36 Raceway in Osborn, MO before completing the weekend double header on Saturday at ACS. The two night weekend combined with the holiday weekend are expected to help draw a strong field of cars coming from multiple states.
Cam Schafer of Little Canada, MN captured the series Championship in 2022 over Spring Hill, KS driver Chad Goff. South Dakota's Bret Mellenberndt finished the season third, Clinton Bruns of Little Rock, IA was 4th and Eric Schultz of Sioux Falls, SD completed the top five.
Also on the card will be a full night of NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series Racing including the Poet Biorefining Modifieds, Northland Oil Stock Cars, O'Reilly Auto Parts B-Mods, Chat Mobility Hobby Stocks, and Floating Vine Compacts.
Gates will open at 5:00 pm with Hot Laps at 6:30 pm followed by a special Pre-Race Memorial Day Weekend Ceremony leading up to the first green flag at 7:00 pm.
